This started with my own cat

How to choose a photo of your pet
The best photograph is usually the one that looks most like your pet to you. A clear, well-lit phone photograph is enough. You do not need a studio image or a perfect one. When you have several, start with the one in which you recognise your pet most clearly.
- Choose an image with enough light to show your pet's features.
- Look for a view where the face and expression are easy to see.
- If you only have an old, cropped, or imperfect photograph, send it anyway. A meaningful image does not need to look like a studio photograph before you begin.
These are practical suggestions, not a test. Choose the image that brings your pet to mind, even if it is not the sharpest or most formal one.
