Making this for someone else who lost a pet
Sometimes the person placing this order isn't the one who lost the pet: a family member or friend choosing to do this for them rather than asking them to do it themselves. In that case, the photo that matters most is one the grieving person already cherishes, not necessarily the clearest or most recent one you can find.
You can choose whether to show them the preview before it's finished, or wait and give them the completed piece as a surprise. Either way works. There's no set way to present it, no unveiling required, just something they can have whenever it feels right to give it to them.
